Overview
Burning Man is an annual event that takes place at Black Rock Desert in Nevada, USA. The event is a unique and transformative experience that combines art, music, performance, and community building. Designed to encourage creativity, self-expression, and community building, participants are encouraged to interact with one another, share their skills and talents, and work together to create a vibrant and unique community.
Approach
Approaching this project, the main component was to connect the ticket design to the festival’s idea of rebirth and Spring renewal. Diving into this theme, I wanted the ticket to be infused with concepts of spirituality, and needed to employ a diverse and captivating color palette to captivate attendees. This innovative and artistic approach would turn the ticket into a memento for festival attendees, reminding those at Burning Man about its commandments and the importance of its annual theme.
