Overview

SoulShock is an electrifying rave event that embraces inclusivity while offering an unforgettable night of high-energy music. Tailored for an 18+ crowd, SoulShock merges the pulse of techno, house, and afro music to create a diverse sonic experience that keeps the dance floor alive. This event brings together music lovers from all walks of life to celebrate unity through rhythm and sound.

Approach

Inspiration was drawn from iconic vintage rave ticket stubs from the 1970s. These were reimagined to align with the modern, inclusive ethos of the event. By reworking these classic designs, the new works paid homage to the rich history of rave culture while infusing them with SoulShock’s unique identity. The process involved studying the bold typography, vibrant color schemes, and grungy textures of old rave tickets, then modernizing these elements to fit the brand’s visual guidelines. The new assets incorporated SoulShock's color palette and logo, ensuring that the new works reflected the event’s focus on unity and inclusivity.
