Red Bull Gives You Wings

Developed packaging for two collaborating drink brands.

Overview

Red Bull, an iconic energy drink brand, was founded in 1987 by Austrian entrepreneur Dietrich Mateschitz. Known for its distinctive sweet and tangy flavor, Red Bull is often associated with extreme sports and active lifestyles and has become a global symbol of energy and endurance. Tito's stepped into the picture for this project and asked to pair up with the sports brand to develop an alcoholic drink geared towards college students while maintaining original elements from both brands.

Approach

For this Red Bull and Tito's collaboration, I designed a bold alcoholic beverage can that fuses the dynamic energy of Red Bull with Tito’s handcrafted authenticity. Retaining Red Bull's signature blue and red palette, I incorporated Tito’s warm copper accents to create a striking visual contrast. Using energetic lines and geometric shapes that evoke speed and motion, alongside fluid curves symbolizing Tito’s smooth vodka, the can design exudes excitement. Bold, modern typography enhances the adventurous and youthful appeal, making it perfect for college students. This design respects both brands' identities while creating something fresh and daring for a new audience.
